CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR PROPOSED
GOLF COURSE AND AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS
WHEREAS, the City has proposed to build a nine hole municipal
golf
course and practice range in the northeast quadrant of the City;
and
WHEREAS, the City has issued a Revenue Bond to finance the
construction of the golf course and practice range, making
financing of the activity possible; and
WHEREAS, the Golf Course Task Force has recommended that the
Council proceed with the approval of the contract documents and
authorize the advertisement of the bids; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that it is the best
interest of the project to proceed with the bid process at this
time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council in and
for the ci ty of Mounds View does hereby approve the contract
documents for the golf course and practice range as presented by
the architect, Garrett Gil.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, the city Council does hereby
authorize the advertisement of bids for the golf course and driving
range.
