CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF MONIES FROM THE SILVER
LAKE WOODS IMPROVEMENT ACCOUNT FOR THE PURPOSE OF A
PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE TRAIL FROM I-35W TO QUINCY STREET
WHEREAS, the Cities of Mounds View and Shoreview have
worked collaborately on a proposed a pedestrian/bicycle trail
along County Road I in Shoreview to the easterly limits of the
City of Mounds View along County Road I between I-35W and
Quincy Street to provide a connection between the two cities
for children and adults commuting to and from Pinewood School
and for bicycle riders; and
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View and the City of
Shoreview have determined that a feasibility report for the
crossing of this trail under I-35W is needed; and
WHEREAS, there is sufficient funds in the Silver Lake
Woods Improvement Project account to fund this feasibility
report and construction of the trail from I-35W to Quincy
Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Mounds View that $15,000 shall be transferred from
the Silver Lake Woods Improvement account for the purpose of
the feasibility report and construction of the trail from west
I-35W to Quincy Street.
Adopted this 29th day of May, 1990.
