RESOLUTION NO. 3045
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A POLICY ON
THE RECOGNITION OF DONATIONS TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, during the development of Mounds View many
individuals and organizations contributed time and funds to
the development of parks and other municipal facilities; and
WHEREAS, it is expected that the City will continue to
receive such contributions in the future; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to establish a policy allowing
for the recognition of contributions from individuals or
organizations without minimizing the past, present or future
contributions of others; and
WHEREAS, said policy must also allow the City the
opportunity to recognize all who have made or will make
contributions in an equally appropriate fashion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the recognition of
contributions to City parks and facilities shall be limited to
the placement of plaques or signs of a design and in a
location approved by the City.
