RESOLUTION NO. 3046
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY TO
RESTRICT PARKING ALONG A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD J
WHEREAS, Ramsey County has planned the improvement of
County Road J (CSAH 1) from T.H. 65 to I-35W; and
WHEREAS, Ramsey County will be expanding County State
Aid Highway funds (S.A.P. 62-601-04) on the improvement of
said street; and
WHEREAS, said improvement does not conform to the
approved minimum standards as previously adopted for such
County State Aid streets and that approval of the proposed
construction as a County State Aid street project must,
therefore, be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions;
and
WHEREAS, the extent of these restrictions, that would
be a necessary prerequisite to the approval of this
construction as a County State Aid project in the City, has
been determined.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Mounds
View requests Ramsey County to restrict the parking of motor
vehicles on the south side of County Road J from the west
County Line to Coral Sea Street.
