CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE PAYMENT TO
PLANNING ASSOCIATE HEIDI HELLER
WHEREAS, Heidi Heller submitted her resignation and her last day of employment
was October 30, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 405.92 hours;
and
WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 111.16 hours; and
WHEREAS, Heidi Heller's current rate of pay is $31.49 per hour; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel
Manual, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused sick time will be 405.92 hours x
50% x her hourly rate of$31.49 = $6,391.21 into Heidi Heller's Retirement Health Savings
Plan (RHSP); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel
Manual, the maximum potential cash payout of accrued/unused vacation time will be
111.16 hours x her hourly rate of $31.49= $3,500.43.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves a one-time payout of sick time not to exceed $6,391.21 into Heidi Heller's RHSP
in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual.
NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves a one-time cash payout of vacation time not to exceed $3,500.43 in
accordance with Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual.
