• RESOLUTION 6873 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AWARDING THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE SILVER LAKE <br />ROAD SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6799 adopted by the City <br />Council on April 24, 2006, sealed bids were received on July 6, 2006, at 10:00 <br />a.m. for the Silver Lake Road Sidewalk Improvement Project; and <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a total of seven (7) bids were received for this project; <br />WHEREAS, the low responsive bid was received from Ti-Zack <br />Concrete, Incorporated with a Base Bid $459,141.00 for the Silver Lake Road <br />Sidewalk Improvement Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />• City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. That the Base Bid of Ti-Zack Concrete, Incorporated in the amount <br />of $459,141.00 for the Silver Lake Road Sidewalk Improvement <br />Project is the lowest responsive bid. <br />2. That a contract to perform said work is awarded to Ti-Zack <br />Concrete, Incorporated and that the Mayor and City Administrator <br />are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said <br />bidder. <br />3. The Public Works Department is authorized and directed to return <br />the deposit made for said bids, except the deposit of the successful <br />bidder, which shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted this 10th day of July 2006. ,f <br />(ATTEST) a °~ ~- , <br />Rob arty, Mayor <br />(SEAL) - <br />• Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />
