RESOLUTION NO. 6885 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE A POLICE OFFICER <br />WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists for a police officer position on the Mounds <br />View Police Department, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission has a current <br />active list of applicants who have conducted the written portion of the testing process for <br />the position of Police Officer, and; <br />WHEREAS, the existing list has over 50 candidates, and it is anticipated that a <br />suitable candidate will be selected from this list, and submitted to the Council for final <br />approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />• does hereby authorize staff to begin the hiring process for a Police Officer to fill the <br />current vacancy. <br />Adopted th" 24th day of July 2006. <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: .~~ ~ ~ <br />Kurt Ulrich <br />City Clerk/Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />• <br />
