CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE A POLICE OFFICER
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists for a police officer position on the Mounds
View Police Department, and;
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission has a current
active list of applicants who have conducted the written portion of the testing process for
the position of Police Officer, and;
WHEREAS, the existing list has over 50 candidates, and it is anticipated that a
suitable candidate will be selected from this list, and submitted to the Council for final
approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
• does hereby authorize staff to begin the hiring process for a Police Officer to fill the
current vacancy.
