CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING ATOBACCO-FREE PARK POLICY
WHEREAS, at the June 5, 2006, Work Session, a proposal to
adopt aTobacco-Free Park Policy was proposed to the City; and
WHEREAS, at the meeting the City Council gave direction to Staff
to submit the draft policy to the City Council for consideration on June 26, 2006;
and
WHEREAS, the current version of the proposed policy, including an
amendment to exempt selected areas, has been submitted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City
Council does hereby approve the attached Tobacco-Free Park Policy and
authorizes the City Administrator to execute it.
