CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW

STATE OF MINNESOTA
ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING ZONE ON THE WEST SIDE OF SPRING
LAKE ROAD FROM 7785 SOUTH TO COUNTY ROAD I
WHEREAS, the City was contacted by a resident with concerns regarding
a section of Spring Lake Road along the west side of Spring Lake; the resident
felt that it is being damaged due to vehicles parking on this side of the road and
that motorists and pedestrians are being put in danger; and
WHEREAS, eliminating parking on this segment of Spring Lake Road will
allow motorists to see pedestrians more clearly and prevent unnecessary road
erosion; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Public Safety Departments have
reviewed this segment of Spring Lake Road and recommend that the City post it
as "No Parking."
. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. Parking shall be prohibited along the west side of Spring Lake
Road from 7785 Spring Lake Road south to County Road I.
2. The Mounds View Public Works Department is hereby authorized
to purchase the necessary signage and erect said signage as per
the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devises.
