CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A HANDICAPPED
DOOR OPENING SYSTEM AT CITY HALL
WHEREAS, the City Council indicated a desire to have a door opening
system reinstalled in the new City Hall vestibule entrance; and
WHEREAS, quotes for the installation of a handicapped door opening
system at City Hall were solicited; and
WHEREAS, a total of three (3) quotes were solicited and two (2) were
received with the low quote submitted by Twin City Hardware in the amount of
$6,931.09 including an electrician and tax; and
WHEREAS, the City Hall Rehabilitation Project account (Account No. 280-
4160-7050-100) is recommended to fund this installation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
A contract for the installation of a handicapped door opening
system at City Hall is awarded to Twin City Hardware in the amount
of $6,931.09 including an electrician and tax.
2. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract with said contractor, contingent on
City legal counsel approval.
3. The funds to administer the aforementioned contracts associated
with the handicapped door opening system are to be derived from
the City Hall Rehabilitation Project Account (Account No. 280-4180-
7050-100).
