CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE SALE OF SURPLUS POLICE RADIO EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, The Police Department has transitioned to all new 800 Mhz radio
equipment, and the old radio equipment is no longer used for our police department
communications, and;
WHEREAS, the old radio equipment can not be sold to the general public, as the
frequencies are programmable for other public safety agencies, and;
WHEREAS, the police department has received two bids from Police Radio
equipment parts dealers for the surplus radio equipment. The bids are $3041.00 from
CommTech Enterprises, and $1550 from Action Radio and Communications, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
does hereby authorize the sale of its surplus police radio equipment to CommTech
Enterprises for the amount of $3041.00.
