RESOLUTION CANVASSING ELECTION RESULTS OF THE
2006 GENERAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, a general election was held November 7, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the results of this election are as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Rob Marty is being certified as being elected
to a two-year term as Mayor of the City of Mounds View; and that AI Hull and Carol A. Mueller are
being certified as being elected to four-year terms as City Council Members of the City of Mounds
View.
NOW, 13E IT FURTHER-RESOLVED, that the Charter Amendment Question is certified as
being passed, which adds new language to Chapter 7, Section 7.03 of the City Charter to limit
annual property taxes, levies and specified fees for City services to a maximum increase of 5%, or
the CPI (Consumer Price Index) plus 2%, whichever is less, and to restrict the ability of the City to
increase specified fund balances beyond set limits, with any increase in excess of these limits
being subject to voter approval.
