CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE
2015 MOUNDS VIEW CITIZENS OF THE YEAR AWARD
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Citizen of the Year Award recognizes ordinary citizens
who have demonstrated initiative to improving the community, whose service or performance
exemplifies the spirit of giving back and who inspire others in their volunteer efforts.; and
WHEREAS, nominations were solicited from the public and were reviewed by the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, Gordy and Paul Fedor, of Fedor's Market, were selected and meet the
criteria outlined in the policy; and
WHEREAS, Gordy and Paul Fedor, as business owners of Mounds View, have
exemplified the courage and determination to follow their values; and
WHEREAS, Gordy and Paul Fedor have demonstrated drive and initiative in their
approach to citizenship and have worked steadfastly with various community groups and
organizations; and
WHEREAS, Gordy and Paul Fedor volunteered a significant amount of time and
energy to further community causes and issues; and
WHEREAS, their efforts have generated positive results for the community; and
WHEREAS, Gordy and Paul Fedor have contributed their efforts unselfishly, not
expecting anything in return.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby present the 2015 Mounds View Citizens of the Year Award to Gordy and Paul Fedor,
of Fedor's Market, in sincere gratitude and appreciation for their efforts as Mounds View
business owers.
Adopted this 8th day of February, 2016.

business owner of Mounds View
WHEREAS, Gordy Fedor, as a business owner of Mounds View, has exemplified the
courage, initiative, and determination to follow his values; and
WHEREAS, he has demonstrated drive and initiative in his approach to leadership, and has
worked consistently with various community groups and organizations; and
WHEREAS, he has volunteered a significant amount of time, passion, and energy to further
community causes and issues; and
WHEREAS, he unselfishly gave his efforts, not expecting anything in return; and
WHEREAS, his efforts have generated positive results for the community.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby present the 2015
Mounds View Citizen of the Year Award to Gordy Fedor, in sincere gratitude and appreciation
