CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
ACCEPTING PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY SPACE NEEDS STUDY
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 8453 on September 14, 2015, approving a
request for proposal for preparing a space needs study for the public works facility; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 8461 on October 12, 2015, approving the
selection of a consultant to perform the space needs study for the public works facility; and,
WHEREAS, the consultant, Oertel Architects completed a draft of the space needs study and
presented the study to the City Council at the January4, 2016 work session; and,
WHEREAS, the final space needs study has been completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey
County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The Public Works Space Needs Study is accepted.
2. Staff shall review financing options and present recommendations to City Council.
3. Staff shall prepare a request for proposals for design services to construct a new Public Works
Facility.
