CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT, HEALTH
INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION ADJUSTMENT, AND PAY EQUITY ADJUSTMENT FOR
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW NON-UNION EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the Personnel Compensation Schedule must be annually approved by
Council Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City settled the AFSCME, Police Officer, and Police Sergeant
contracts which included a 3% cost of living adjustment and a $732.20 monthly City
contribution for health insurance for the year 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has traditionally awarded the same cost of living
increase and health insurance contribution to non-union employees; and
WHEREAS, a 5% Pay Equity Adjustment will need to be made on all non-union
female classifications (Assistant to the City Administrator & Utility Payroll Clerk) effective
December 31, 2006, to ensure compliance with the Minnesota State Pay Equity Law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved a Budget for the year 2007 that reflects
those increases;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Mounds View, that the City
Council does hereby approve a 3% cost of living adjustment, a monthly $732.20 health
insurance contribution, for all non-union employees, effective January 1, 2007.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City of Mounds View,
that the City Council does hereby approve a 5% Pay Equity Adjustment on all non-union
female classifications, (Assistant to the City Administrator & Utility Payroll Clerk), effective
December 31, 2006.
Adopted is 11th day of December, 2006.
