COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2006-2007 CONTRACT AMENDMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby ratify the AFSCME Union, Local 5
Bargaining Unit Contract Amendments for 2006-2007 Contract, with the following
amendments:
1. Pay Equity Adjustment -effective December 31, 2006 (AFSCMEI
• 5% to all Female Classifications with an additional 1 % to the Account
Clerk
• All Administrative Assistants are put into one Category (Technicians)
and given the same pay rate as the Utility Billing Clerk (non-union
position)
• Police Administrative Assistant will be reclassified as a Police
Support Specialist and given the same rate of pay as the
Technicians.
• Job Titles have been changed as indicated in the July 2006
• Compensation Study.
2. 2007 FTIPT Regular Employees' Wages (3.0% increase effective
January 1, 2007) - (AFSCME)
• Effective January 1, 2007, all classifications below receive a 3%
increase.
• Effective January 1, 2007, in addition to the 3°I° increase the
Economic Development Specialist will receive an additional 0.5% ;
the Housing Code Enforcement Inspector and Public Service Officer
will receive an additional 1.5%.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Mounds View does hereby ratify the AFSCME Union, Local 5 Contract Amendments as
stated in Exhibit A, attached to this Resolution.

EXHIBIT A
In accordance with 27.1 of this AFSCME contract, the City and the AFSCME Union Local 2686, met on
Tuesday, November 14, 2006 to discuss Pay Equity Adjustments. The following below are the wages and
job titles agreed upon between the City and AFSCME Union Local 2686:
