CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION REVISING SECTION 3.40 OF THE MOUINDS VIEW PERSONNEL
MANUAL PERTAIING TO THE VACATION ACCRUAL SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, the Personnel Compensation Schedule must be annually approved
by Council Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City settled the AFSCME, Police Officer, and Police Sergeant
Union Contracts which included 25 days vacation after 20 years of service; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has traditionally awarded the same benefit to non-
union employees; and
WHEREAS, the new Vacation Accrual Schedule is as follows:

Years of Service Days per Year
6 months - 1 year 10 days
1 through 5 years 10 days
After 5 years through 10 years 15 days
After 11 years 16 days
After 12 years 17 days
After 13 years 18 days
After 14 years 19 days
After 15 years 20 days
After 20 years 25 days
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Mounds View, that the
City Council does hereby approve revising Section 3.40 of the Mounds View Personnel
Manual to reflect 25 days vacation after 20 years of service with the City of Mounds
View effective January 1, 2007.
