CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM BETHLEHEM BAPTIST CHURCH
IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,853 AND AUTHORIZING DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS
WHEREAS, since its establishment in Mounds View in 2004, Bethlehem Baptist
Church has generously supported activities that have benefited the residents of Mounds
View; and
WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church would like to continue that support by
making a contribution to the City of Mounds View of $15,853 to support the following
programs and activities:
Music in the Park $1,500
Movie in the Park $1,500
Annual Campaign $2,000
Festival in the Park 5K $1,853
Community Engagement Activities $2,000
Festival in the Park $2,000
Quincy House $2,000
Community Resource Center $3,000
for Homelessness Prevention
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council
gratefully acknowledges and accepts the donation of $15,853 from Bethlehem Baptist
Church, authorizes the distribution of the funds as directed herein, and approves the
amendment of the 2016 Budget as may be necessary.
