CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPOINTING JOHN KROEGER AND DARREN PETERSON TO THE PARKS AND
RECREATION AND FORESTRY COMMISSION AND APPOINTING JERRY KUNZ AS
CHAIRPERSON
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission
consists of members appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the majority of the City Council;
and,
WHEREAS, there are currently two vacant seats to fill; and
WHEREAS, the City has received one application by John Kroeger for re-
appointment to the Commission for the two vacant seats; and
and
WHEREAS, the City re-advertised for applications to fill the one remaining seat;
WHEREAS, the City received two applications for the remaining seat; and

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission made a motion
recommending John Kroeger's re-appointment to the Parks and Recreation and Forestry
Commission, and Darren Peterson's appointment to the Parks and Recreation and Forestry
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission made a motion
recommending the appointment of Jerry Kunz as Chairperson to the Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The Mayor and the City Council do hereby approve the following Mounds View residents
to serve on the Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission:

2. The Mayor and the City Council do hereby approve Jerry Kunz to serve as Chairperson
on the Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission.
