RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT WHITE
SQUAD CAR
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department planned and budgeted for replacement of one
marked squad car in 2007, and;
WHEREAS, the replacement cost of one white squad car was budgeted in 2007 at an estimated
cost of $23,000, plus equipment and set up and;
WHEREAS, Elk River Ford was awarded the state bid for the 2007 White Ford Crown Victoria
Police Interceptor Package for 2007 at an approximate cost of $22,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council for the City of Mounds View
authorizes the purchase of one 2007 White Ford Crown Victoria police vehicle under the state bid at an
approximate cost of $22,000, including tax, registration, and license fees.
Adopted this 12th day of March 2007.
