CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND MUTUAL RELEASE OF
CLAIMS WITH INNOVATIVE IMAGES MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT,
LLC.
WHEREAS, in March of 2001, the City suspended services with
Innovative Images; and
WHEREAS, Innovative Images had presented a settlement claim in the
amount of $30,000 relating to a contact the company once held with the City to
manage the Mounds View Community Center; and
WHEREAS, a settlement offer was made by the City in the amount of
$686.43, which was rejected by Innovative Images; and
WHEREAS, a counter-offer was made by Innovative Images and a
deadline was placed of September 5, 2005, for the City to accept the settlement
proposal; and
WHEREAS, a settlement agreement has been reached with Innovative
images, and that agreement is attached as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City
Council authorizes the execution of the Settlement Agreement, attached hereto
as Exhibit A.
