CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVAL OF PROHIBITION OF PARKING ON EDGEWOOD DRIVE FROM
COUNTY ROAD H TO WOODALE DRIVE.
WHEREAS, School Officials, the Police Department, and the Public
Works Department have identified safety issues with regard to the parking and
drop off and pick up areas along Edgewood school, and
WHEREAS, these safety issues can be remedied by designating
no parking areas and designating a pick up and drop off zone for students; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Police Departments and
Edgewood School Officials have reviewed the segment of Edgewood Drive near
the school and recommend that the City post "No Parking" signs and No
Parking/Pick up and Drop Off Only" signs on the East side of Edgewood Drive to
create a safer situation for parking and movement of students entering and
exiting the school.
• NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED b the Cit Council of the

City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. Parking shall be prohibited on the East side of Edgewood Drive
from County Road H to Woodale Drive. The area from County
Road H to the North driveway of Edgewood School shall be
designated by signage as a pick up and drop off zone only.
2. The Mounds View Public Works Department is hereby authorized
to purchase the necessary signage and erect said signage as per
the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devises.
