Resolution Changing the Public Hearing Dates for the Proposed General Fund
Budget and Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2006
WHEREAS, the truth in taxation law requires the city to hold public hearings as
past of the budget process to adopt its final General Fund Budget and Property Tax
Levy for fiscal year 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has selected dates for an initial public hearing and a
continuation public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the time of the initial public hearing conflicts with another public
hearing on the December 5, 2005, a new time and/or date is needed to resolve the
conflict.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Mounds View that the initial Truth in Taxation public hearing will be hold on December
5, 2005 at 6pm at the New Brighton City Hall.
• BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the continuation Truth in Taxation public
hearing, if needed, will be held as part of the regular City Council meeting on Monday,
December 12, 2005, at 7pm at the New Brighton City Hall.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the adoption of the final General Fund Budget
and Property Tax Levy for fiscal year 2006 will occur as part of the regular City Council
meeting on Monday, December 12, 2005, at 7pm at the New Brighton City Hall.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director shall certify these dates
to the Ramsey County Auditor.
