CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE HIRE OF BRIAN DICKENSON AS ENGINEERING/GIS INTERN IN
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, at the February 8, 2016, City Council Meeting, the City Council
approved a revised job description and authorized Staff to advertise for an
Engineering/GIS Intern; and
WHEREAS, six (6) applications were received for the position, and three (3)
applicants were interviewed; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Brian Dickenson was determined to be the best candidate for
the Engineering/GIS Intern position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. Mr. Brian Dickenson is hereby appointed to the position of Engineering/GIS Intern in
the Public Works Department with a starting date on or about May 10, 2016.
2. Mr. Brian Dickenson's hourly rate will be $11.75 per hour without benefits.
3. Work hours for Mr. Dickenson would be a part time (under 30 hours a week not to
exceed the total budgeted 680 hours), and internship will not to exceed 119 calendar
days.
Adopted this 9th day of May, 2016.
