Resolution 6653 Setting an Interest Rate and Administrative Fee for Special
Assessments Certified During 2005
WHEREAS, the City will undertake the certification of several special assessment
levies during the balance of the year 2005; and,
WHEREAS, it will more efficient and fair if the interest rate and administrative fees
are set once and then applied to all levies; and
WHEREAS, these should be set so as to cover all costs to the city of providing
special assessments as a financing tool to its residents without being excessive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds
View sets the interest rate of 5.0% and the administrative fee of $25.00 per parcel for
special assessments certified during 2005.
