CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW

STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVAL OF ALTERING THE PROHIBITION OF PARKING ON EDGEWOOD
DRIVE FROM COUNTY ROAD H TO WOODALE DRIVE
WHEREAS, on September 26, 2005 the City Council approved Resolution
6626, which granted approval of prohibition of parking on Edgewood Drive from County
Road H to Woodale Drive and designated a drop off and pick up zone from County
Road H to the North driveway of Edgewood School, and
WHEREAS, at the October 10, 2005 City Council meeting, residents along
Edgewood Drive expressed concerns regarding the parking prohibition that was
established by Resolution No. 6626; and
WHEREAS, a neighborhood meeting was conducted on Tuesday,
October 18, 2005, and a consensus was reached that by adding stipulations to limit the
no parking restrictions in the drop off and pick up zone established by Resolution 6626
would be a workable, although not perfect, solution that could be agreed upon; and
WHEREAS, said stipulation would be "School Days - 6AM to 4PM".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
The parking prohibited on the East side of Edgewood Drive from County
Road H to the North driveway of Edgewood School shall be limited to
School Days - 6AM to 4PM.
2. The Mounds View Public Works Department is hereby authorized to
purchase the necessary signage and erect said signage as per the
Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devises.
