CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A SECURITY CARD
READING SYSTEM AT CITY HALL AND THE COMMUNITY CENTER
WHEREAS, plans for the City Hall Rehabilitation Project included a
security card reading system to be installed at City Hall, as well as the
Community Center; and
WHEREAS, quotes for the installation of a security card reading system at
City Hall and the Community Center were solicited; and
WHEREAS, quotes for installation of a security card reading system at
City Hall and the Community Center were solicited and a total of three (3) quotes
were received with the low quote submitted by UHL Company in the amount of
$17,800.00; and
WHEREAS, the Special Projects Fund (Account No. 280-4160-7050) is
recommended to fund this installation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mo
unds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows.
1. A contract for the installation of a security card reading system at
City Hall and the Community Center is awarded to UHL Company
in the amount of $17,800.00.
2. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract with said contractor, contingent on
City legal Counsel approval.
3. The funds to administer the aforementioned contracts associated
with the security card reading system are to be derived from the
Special Project Account (Account No. 280-4180-7050).
