CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADVERTISING TO FILL POLICE OFFICER
POSITIONS
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission maintains
an eligibility list for Police Officer Positions, and;
WHEREAS, this list has now expired, and the police department
anticipates an opening this spring as a result of a retirement, and;
WHEREAS, the police officer position is an essential position to the
operations of the Police Department, and having a replacement officer in place at
the time of the retirement is critical to maintaining uninterrupted continuity of
functional Police operations, and;
WHERAS, the replacement officer shall be hired from the new Civil
• Service eligibility list.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council does hereby approve advertising to create a new eligibility list for the
position of police officer for the City of Mounds View.
Adopted this 13th day of February 2006.
