CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
SETTING A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT HEARING DATE FOR THE SILVER
LAKE ROAD SIDEWALK PROJECT
WHEREAS, on March 22, 2004, the City Council authorized the
preparation of a Preliminary Feasibility Report and consultant selection for the
Silver Lake Road Sidewalk Project; and
WHEREAS, on January 3, 2006, a draft Preliminary Feasibility Report for
this project was submitted for the City Council's review; and
WHEREAS, on February 2, 2006, a neighborhood informational meeting
on this project was conducted; and
WHEREAS, a Public Improvement Hearing is not required by State
Statute for this project; however, Staff is recommending that a Public
Improvement Hearing be conducted to allow the public to learn about the
• proposed project and to provide comments; and
WHEREAS, a Public Improvement Hearing date of February 27, 2006, will
afford the necessary time to publish legal notices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
A public improvement hearing for said improvement is hereby set
for 7:00 pm on February 27, 2006 at the New Brighton City Hall.
Adopted this 13th day of February 2006.
