STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ADVERTISE TO FILL THE POSITION
OF FULL T[ME TEMPORARY BUILDING INSPECTOR WITHIN THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Community Development Department has an
immediate need to fill a part time, temporary position; and,
WHEREAS, the temporary full time position would perform routine building inspections
and plan review services; and,
WHEREAS, qualified individuals would be certified and have experience in municipal
inspections and be trained in the technical aspects of building code administration; and,
WHEREAS, the temporary position, unless otherwise extended by subsequent Council
action, would last for no more than two years at an advertised starting wage rate $20.49 per hour.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Mounds View
• authorizes staff to prepare and post an advertisement for the fu11-time temporary position of
"BUILDING INSPECTOR" within the Community Development Department.
