HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 6682• RESOLUTION 6682 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2006 FEE SCHEDULE WHEREAS, revisions and updates to the Fee Schedule are necessary; and • t WHEREAS, each City of Mounds View Department Head has reviewed all fees relevant to his/her department and recommended changes to the City Council where necessary; and WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the Fee Schedule at the December 6, 2005, Work Session; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby approve the 2006 Fee Schedule, which is attached to this resolution. VALUATION TABLE The following Valuation Table shall be used to determine fees for those permits indicated below and in all cases where the work is of such a nature that the permit fees cannot be determined from the schedule established below for such work. Below ground $20.00 per sq. ft. B. SURCHARGES • • Building Surcharge: Where the fee for the permit is based upon valuation, the surcharge is as follows: 1. OTHER INSPECTIONS /PLANNING FEES • Applicants are responsible for all costs incurred associated with the filing, review and processing of development applications. Such fees are to be paid in escrow up front or upon receipt of statement from the City of Mounds View. Fees may include but are not limited to costs for consultants retained by the City, consultant planning services, attorney, and engineer fees. A deposit may also be required to cover costs of public notices, materials and staff time spent in the review, research or preparation of materials associated with this application. The applicant shall be responsible for all reasonable incurred costs in excess of the initial deposit amount. Any portion of the deposit not spent or encumbered shall be refunded to the applicant within 30 days after consideration of the application is completed. Payment of park dedication fees is required with subdivision applications. Application fees are not refundable. • Building Inspections Inspections conducted outside of normal business hours $47/hr.
