CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY'S
PRELIMINARY SPECIAL BENEFITS TAX FOR FISCAL YEAR 2017
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Authority may
establish an HRA special benefit tax pursuant to Minnesota Statute 469.033
Subdivision 6; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 469.033 Subdivision 6 requires the
consent, by resolution, of the governing body of the municipality to the levy of said
tax.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota Statute
469.033 Subdivision 6, the HRA special benefit tax as determined by the
Mounds View Economic Development Authority is given approval for collection
in fiscal year 2017 in the amount of $100,000
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a Truth-in-
taxation meeting will be held Monday, December 5, 2016 at 6pm at City Hall
covering the above levy with final approval occurring on or after December 12,
2016.
