Approving a Transfer of Ownership for an Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License from
Applebaum, LLC (doing business as Big Top Liquors)
to
Merwin Liquors
Located at 2577 Mounds View Boulevard
WHEREAS, Merwin Liquors has a purchase agreement with Applebaum, LLC to
purchase Big Top Liquors located at 2577 Mounds View Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, all City of Mounds View business licenses must be approved by the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, Merwin Liquors submitted all required City and State liquor license
application materials and fees; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed all application materials; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of an Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License
transfer to the Merwin Liquors contingent on a satisfactory background check and a
satisfactory fire inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby approve an Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License transfer to Merwin Liquors
contingent on a satisfactory background check and a satisfactory fire inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this license will expire on
June 30, 2017.
Adopted this 26th day of September, 2016.
