STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Commission (EDC) consists of seven
members—four residents and three business reps--appointed by the Economic Development
Authority (EDA); and,
WHEREAS, due to a recent resignation, there are two vacant "resident" seats on the
EDC with terms expiring on December 31, 2017 and December 31, 2019, respectively; and,
WHEREAS, residents Theresa Muckala, employed by Medtronic, and Dennis Farmer,
employed by the Metropolitan Council, have resubmitted applications for consideration; and,
WHEREAS,the EDC considered the applications from Ms. Muckala and Mr. Farmer and
recommended both be appointed to the EDC.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the Mounds View Economic Development
Authority does hereby appoint Teresa Muckala and Dennis Farmer to the Economic
Development Commission with "resident" terms as follows:

Dennis Farmer December 31, 2017
Teresa Muckala December 31, 2019
