CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE "USE OF BODY WORN CAMERAS" POLICY AND
DATA RETENTION SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed and approved the Body Worn Camera Policy
and data retention schedule at its work session on December 5, 2016; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has made copies of both the draft policy as
well as data retention schedule available for public view on social media and on the city
website,
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View promotes citizen input and have allowed for
public comments on electronic survey, social media, in person, and by mail, fulfilling
Minnesota statutory requirements,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL
THAT the policy for"Use of Body Worn Cameras" and data retention shall be adopted and
implemented by Mounds View Police Department.
Adopted this 12th day of December 2016.
