COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF BODY WORN CAMERAS AND
RELATED PERIPHERAL EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed and approved the quotes for the purchase of
body worn cameras and related equipment at its work session on December 5, 2016; and,
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department has tested various Body Worn
Camera systems and determined Watchguard the be the best value and fits the
operational needs of the agency; and
WHEREAS, Body Worn Cameras serve law enforcement and the public, by
accurately documenting police encounters, preserving evidence, increasing public trust.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MOUNDS VIEW THAT the City Council approves the purchase of five (5) Body Worn
Cameras and related equipment from Watchguard in the amount of$5585, with funds paid
from Account # 225-4200-1230.
Adopted this 12th day of December 2016.
