CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVE DESIGN AND AUTHORIZE SEEKING QUOTES FOR STORMWATER
IMPROVEMENT AT 2255 LAMBERT AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has received $19,292.00 from the Rice Creek
Watershed District's Urban Stormwater Remediation Cost Share Program; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has $50,000.00 in the Storm Water Fund, System
Maintenance budget for completing this remediation project at 2255 Lambert Avenue; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has $25,000.00 in the Storm Water Fund, System
Maintenance budget for completing storm water projects; and,
WHEREAS, a design has been prepared to have this work performed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer will seek a minimum of three quotes for completing this
work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View,
Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The City Council approves the plans for the stormwater remediation project at 2255
Lambert Avenue.
2. The City Engineer is directed to seek a minimum of three quotes for completion of
this work
3. The City Engineer shall bring back the quotes to the City Council for award of this
project at the earliest time possible.
4. The City Council authorizes the use of $1,752.50 from the storm water projects line
item if necessary.
5. The costs for this storm sewer work shall be paid from the Storm Water Fund (475-
4415-7050).
