CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE HIRE OF SHERRI EISENBRAUN TO THE
PERMIT TECHNICIAN POSITION
WHEREAS, upon direction from the Mounds View City Council, the Permit Technician
position was advertised; and
WHEREAS, Staff interviewed eight (8) qualified candidates and conducted second
interviews on two (2) candidates; and
WHEREAS, Sherri Eisenbraun's skills and experience were determined to most closely
match the duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Eisenbraun would start at Step 4 of the Pay Scale at$27.00/hour; with
an increase to Step 5 of the salary range (currently$28.42/hour) after one year of employment;
and
WHEREAS, all step wage increases are subject to satisfactory performance evaluations;
and
WHEREAS, background checks on Ms. Eisenbraun are incomplete, and therefore, hiring
would be contingent on satisfactory background and credit checks; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Eisenbraun would begin employment on or about January 17, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council appoints
Sherri Eisenbraun to the position of Permit Technician in the Community Development
Department, contingent on satisfactory background and credit checks, with employment to
commence on or about January 17, 2017.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby approve the hire of Sherri
Eisenbraun to the full-time, non-exempt, non-union position of Permit Technician at Step 4 of the
pay scale (currently $27.00/hour).
Adopted this 3rd day of January, 2017.
