CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR THE
PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR POSITION
WHEREAS, Public Works Director Brian Erickson has resigned from his position
effective July 14, 2017; and
WHEREAS, when job vacancies occur, it is desirable to review job descriptions to
ensure the requirements accurately reflect the expectations of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the job description was reviewed by Staff and no revisions are required;
and
WHEREAS, Staff would like to start the process of advertising to hire a replacement
Public Works Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds
View, Ramsey County, Minnesota to approve authorization to advertise for the upcoming
vacancy for Public Works Director.
Adopted this 26th day of June, 2017.
