COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPOINTING PUBLIC WORKS SUPERVISOR DON PETERSON AS
INTERIM PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
WHEREAS, Public Works Director Brian Erickson has resigned from his position
effective July 14, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Public Works Director Brian Erickson's last day of employment is
July 14, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Staff is recommending that the City Council appoint Public Works
Supervisor Don Peterson to serve as the Interim Public Works Director, effective July
14, 2017, until the City Council fills the vacancy; and
WHEREAS, Staff is recommending that the City Council compensate Public
Works Supervisor Don Peterson at his normal rate of pay plus an additional 10% per
Resolution 5626.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
does hereby appoint Public Works Supervisor Don Peterson to serve as Interim Public
Works Director.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that for this interim period,
Public Works Supervisor Don Peterson will be compensated at his normal rate of pay
plus an additional 10% per Resolution 5626.
Adopted this 10th day of July, 2017.
