STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH SPRINGSTED I
WATERS TO PROVIDE EXECUTIVE SEARCH SERVICES FOR THE
CITY ADMINISTRATOR POSITION
WHEREAS, after serving the City of Mounds View for twenty-one years, City
Administrator Jim Ericson has submitted his resignation effective September 8, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the City Council discussed the pending vacancy and reviewed a
proposal for executive search services from Springsted I Waters at its work session on July,
17, 2017; and
WHEREAS, in the interest of expediency and in recognition of the importance of this
position, the City Council desires to engage the services of Springsted I Waters pursuant to
its proposal dated July 14, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Mounds
View does hereby approve a professional services agreement with Springsted I Waters to
provide executive search services for the city administrator position at a cost not to exceed
$21,500.
