CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BLAINE
AND THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERMITTING CERTAIN
RESIDENTS IN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW TO CONNECT ONTO THE CITY OF
BLAINE’S MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM AND WATER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View provides sewer and water services for most
residents in the community, except in areas where it would be economically impractical for
the City to do so and where an adjoining city already has services; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Blaine provides water and sanitary services to homes on
County Road J (85th Avenue) west of Spring Lake Road; and,
WHEREAS, as a result of new construction in this area, the City of Blaine is asking
the City of Mounds View to approve a new agreement for the provisions of these services
to these certain properties.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council does
hereby approve the revised attached agreement between the City of Blaine and the City of
Mounds View for the City of Blaine to provide sewer and water services to those Mounds
View properties on County Road J (85th Avenue) west of Spring Lake Road.
