CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING A SCOPE OF SERVICES TO COMPLETE THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View adopted a Comprehensive Plan for the City of
Mounds View in 1979, and is required to be updated and submitted for review to the
Metropolitan Council every ten years, with the current update to be submitted by December 31,
2018; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has provided the City with a Checklist of
Minimum Requirements for Mounds View to be included in the Plan update; and,
WHEREAS, the City is in need of assistance to complete such requirements; and,
WHEREAS, Stantec has submitted a Scope of Services to Complete the Comprehensive
Plan, dated December 1, 2017, with a cost estimate o£
$44,716 "Mounds View Comprehensive Plan"
$46,000 "Mounds View Comprehensive Plan — Water Plan Updates and Surface
Water Management Plan"
$90,716 TOTAL
WHEREAS, funds are included in the proposed 2018 budget; and,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council
authorizes the Mayor and Interim City Administrator to sign the Scope of Services, dated
December 1, 2017; and,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Staff and Stantec will work
together to reduce costs as much as possible.
