STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING A ONE TIME 4 HOURS ADDITIONAL COMP/FLEX TIME
IN RECOGNITION OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE FOR 2017
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View places high priority and value on its
professional staff; and
WHEREAS, a disproportionate number of vacancies occurred in 2017 due to a
variety of reasons; and
WHEREAS, this placed additional burden on the remaining staff; and
WHEREAS, staff met these challenges with enthusiasm, professionalism and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, the city council publicly expressed their appreciation at their December
4, 2017 meeting and wishes to reinforce and further recognize their commitment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves awarding all employees who worked full time for at least 9 months in calendar
year 2017 and were still working at the end of the year an additional 4 hours of
compensation or flex time. This is a one-time allocation that must be used by July 1, 2018
and have supervisor approval for the scheduled time off.
