CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING UP TO $10,455 FROM THE SPECIAL PROJECTS
FUNDS FOR THE RECORDS RETENTION DATA/STORAGE PROJECT
WHEREAS, State Statute and Best Practices determines and guides governmental
agencies in proper record retention and data storage; and,
WHEREAS, the digitization of records is desirable both in terms of physical storage
needs but more importantly, retrieving those records and,
WHEREAS, the City has taken several steps to digitize and store records and this current
effort builds upon those same efforts and systems; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Mounds
View, approves allocating up to $10,455 from the Special Projects Fund towards the Records
Retention/Data Storage effort
Passed and adopted this 26°i day of March, 2018.
