STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN UPDATE
TO THE BUSINESS TOOLBOX
WHEREAS, the Business Toolbox is a document summarizing financial and technical
resources available to existing and prospective Mounds View businesses; and
WHEREAS, the Business Toolbox was last amended by the Economic Development
Authority of the City of Mounds View, Minnesota (the "EDA") on December 12, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Commission of the City of Mounds View,
Minnesota (the "EDC') has determined that an update to the Business Toolbox is warranted; and
WHEREAS, the EDC has reviewed certain amendments and is requesting that the EDA
approve the updated Business Toolbox.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Economic Development Authority of
the City of Mounds View, Minnesota:
1. That the EDA hereby approves the amendments to the Business Toolbox to reflect the
changes made by staff and recommended by the EDC in substantially the form presented to
the EDA on the date this Resolution was adopted.
2. That pursuant to the approved amendment, the Business Toolbox shall hereinafter be named
the "Business Growth Toolbox."
The EDA directs its staff to take any appropriate action and to prepare any appropriate
documents to facilitate the directives of the EDA as set forth in this Resolution.
4. The President, EDA staff, the EDA attorney, and EDA consultants are hereby authorized
and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in order
to accomplish the intent of this Resolution.
