1 Cathy Bennett, Economic Development Coordinator, reported that
2 the list of target industries was developed by the Economic
3 Development Commission at their February 23 , 1995 meeting.
4 The list is categorized into three sections: Retail,
5 Commercial Office, and Industrial.

7 President Linke read Exhibit A which contained the list of
8 Targeted Industries.

10 Ms. Bennett explained that the list of target industries was
11 compiled to assist staff in prioritizing projects on the basis
12 of need for the community. It will also be available to
13 potential developers interested in bringing new business to
14 the City and real estate developers that are currently
15 marketing property in Mounds View.
