CALL TO ORDER
The Economic Development Authority was called to order by President McCarty on April 28, 1997 at 6:49
p.m.
ROLL CALL
MEMBERS PRESENT: Duane McCarty,Julie Trude,Gary Quick,Roger Stigney,Roger Koopmeiners,
Director of Economic Development Cathy Bennett,Clerk Administrator Chuck Whiting and City Attorney Bob
Long.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Koopmeiners to Approve the Agenda as presented.
VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
MOTION/SECOND: Koopmeiners/Quick to approve the minutes of the EDA Meeting on March 10, 1997 as
presented.
VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried
CONSENT AGENDA:
There were no items on the Consent Agenda.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
There were no Public Hearings scheduled for this meeting.
EDA BUSINESS:
A. Consideration of Resolution No.97-EDA-65,Approving Modification of the Project Plan for the
Mounds View Economic Development Project and Approving the Tax Increment Financing Plan for
Tax Increment Financing District No.4.
Ms.Bennett explained that this resolution would approve a modification to the city's existing tax increment
plan and approve the tax increment plan for a new district which would be located for the Bel Rae Ballroom
project.
