STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL ARCVIEW® LICENSES,
ADDITIONAL SMART PHONES/CONTRACT UPGRADES AND PROCURE QUOTES
FOR GPS LOCATION DEVICE
WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to research asset management software
for Public Works to manage publicly owned infrastructure, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council included this directive in the probation requirements for
Public Works Director Don Peterson and Administrator Nyle Zikmund, and,
WHEREAS, Director Peterson provided council information and recommendation at
their July 2, 2018 workshop; and,
WHEREAS, the council was supportive of the technology and recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council
approves the allocation of up to $2,400 for additional ArcView licenses, acquiring additional
smart phones as needed and as current approved budgets permit and to acquire quotes
for a GPS location device.
